data-end=\"556\">Durante el <strong data-start=\"254\" data-end=\"296\">Congreso Europeo de Gen\u00e9tica de Hongos<\/strong> celebrado en <strong>Dubl\u00edn, Irlanda,<\/strong> se presentaron <strong data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"389\">tres trabajos desarrollados por Exinnes Lab<\/strong>, asesorados por el Dr. Denis Maga\u00f1a Ortiz. Las investigaciones formaron parte de un encuentro internacional que reuni\u00f3 m\u00e1s de mil trabajos en biotecnolog\u00eda aplicada.<\/p><p data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"809\">Uno de los trabajos presentados recibi\u00f3 el premio <strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"622\">Best Oral Presentation<\/strong>. El trabajo acreedor del premio fue la investigaci\u00f3n que propone una soluci\u00f3n para tratar aceite de cocina quemado, un residuo altamente t\u00f3xico.<\/p><p data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"809\">El proyecto demostr\u00f3 que la cepa segura de laboratorio, <em data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"888\">Aspergillus foetidus,<\/em> puede degradar este residuo y transformarlo en compuestos org\u00e1nicos \u00fatiles para la agricultura, sin generar da\u00f1o ambiental. Actualmente el proceso se encuentra en fase de escalamiento con biorreactor piloto.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #244b9a;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #244b9a; d\u00eda la integridad de los ecosistemas, la biodiversidad y la salud de los seres vivos.<\/p><p>Proponemos el <strong>uso de herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas, de dise\u00f1o y de conocimiento cient\u00edfico<\/strong>, para la disminuci\u00f3n del impacto ambiental de la actividad humana, la contaminaci\u00f3n de aguas y suelo, as\u00ed como el conocimiento y aprovechamiento de recursos naturales con un enfoque sustentable.<\/p><p>El laboratorio est\u00e1 liderado por el <strong>Dr. Denis Maga\u00f1a-Ort\u00edz<\/strong>, profesor investigador titular del Tecnol\u00f3gico Nacional de consumo y aprovechamiento de los nutrientes presentes en este residuo. Es <strong>ingeniero bioqu\u00edmico<\/strong> por el Tecnol\u00f3gico de M\u00e9rida y cuenta con una <strong>maestr\u00eda y un doctorado<\/strong> en ciencias con <strong>especialidad en Biotecnolog\u00eda de Plantas<\/strong> por el Cinvestav Unidad Irapuato.<\/p><p>De 2016 a 2023 recibi\u00f3 la distinci\u00f3n de Nivel 1 en el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores <strong>(SNI)<\/strong>. Actualmente, cuenta con el <strong>Nivel 2<\/strong> del Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (SNII) para el periodo 2024-2028.<\/p><p>Ha desarrollado <strong>dos patentes vigentes otorgadas por el IMPI<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de publicar <strong>16 art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos y dos libros en editoriales internacionales.<\/strong> Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n abarcan el an\u00e1lisis de ADN en plantas, abejas y microorganismos, as\u00ed como aplicaciones biotecnol\u00f3gicas en salud y medio ambiente.<\/p><p>Sus investigaciones se enfocan el desarrollo de <strong>soluciones innovadoras a problemas ambientales<\/strong>, promoviendo la <strong>conservaci\u00f3n<\/strong> responsable de los <strong>recursos bi\u00f3ticos.<\/strong> Adem\u00e1s, le interesa la interacci\u00f3n entre comunidad, gobierno y sociedad civil para la <strong>preservaci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales y la protecci\u00f3n de los bienes culturales<\/strong> de las
