I conducted my thesis project “Evaluation of the biological activity of strains of Trichoderma for the control of Bemisia spp. and Tetranychus spp, and activation of defense genes in Capsicum Chinense”
Performing of experiments in vitro and in the greenhouse, obtaining and purification of biological samples of DNA, through the use of Molecular Biology techniques.
Production of recombinant proteins in filamentous fungi, concentration and quantification of proteins by the method of Bradford and BCA, protein electrophoresis and cDNA, Western blotting of proteins, detection of recombinant proteins, antibodies, RNA extraction, RNA purification, DNA, and proteins, retrotranscripción of RNA and PCR.
I worked on the project “Detection of proteins of A. foetidus from recombinant strains containing genes of Trypanosoma cruzi”, where I did the spread of recombinant strains, obtaining extracts of extracellular proteins and the detection of proteins by Western Blot analysis.
Preparation of culture media, the spread of strains of fungi, identification of hazardous waste, extraction of DNA and biological recognition using PCR and gel electrophoresis, evaluation of genes and development of oligos through the use of Gene Bank.
